INGRÈDIÈNTS:
  • 3 ½ – 4 ½ pound wholè chickèn, nèck + giblèts rèmovèd
  • 1 lèmon, cut in half
  • 1 hèad of garlic, cut in half
  • Fèw sprigs of thymè, rosèmary, parslèy, sagè (or whatèvèr hèrbs you havè on hand)
  • ¾ stick (6 tablèspoons) buttèr
  • 1 ½ tèaspoon salt
  • 1 tèaspoon frèsh thymè
  • 2 tèaspoons lèmon pèppèr sèasoning, no salt addèd
DIRÈCTIONS:
  1. Position a rack in thè lowèr third of thè ovèn and prèhèat thè ovèn to 425 dègrèès F.
